Lori McClain received her BFA in Acting from Wright State University. After touring the country as a singer in a top 40 cover band, she moved to Chicago and went on a nationwide tour with Child's Play Touring Theatre, performing on and off-Broadway. She studied improv and writing with The Second City and was a founding member of The WNEP Theater Foundation, writing and performing in many of their shows: most notably, a musical which she co-wrote and starred in entitled, "The Wicked and the Sexed" (New City's 1997 Best Original Musical Production). You can see her doing improv in ComedySportz and in ComedySportz' productions "Blind Date" and "Whose Chorus Line Is It Anyway?" (director); as an understudy in Second City's Gayco and Underdogma; and in commercials, industrial films, trade shows, murder mysteries, and singing jazz with The Lori McClain Trio. She was recently honored to step into the role of Xena Warrior Princess in "Xena Live!" with the About Face and greasy joan theatre companies.
