                      KRISTINA

SHE IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL LADY.

SHE IS KRISTINA.

SHE IS JOY.

SHE IS MUSIC.

SHE IS HAPPINESS.

SHE IS VIVACITY.

SHE IS SONG.

SHE IS THE WAY OF THE LIGHT--

THE WAY THAT LIGHTS UP

WITH A DEBONAIR QUALITY

JUST LIKE A FULL-GROWN LINDEN TREE.

                   LISTEN TO MY DANCE

LISTEN TO MY DANCE...

IT IS THE DANCE OF MUSIC.

IT POURS OUT CLEAR

LIKE CRASHING CYMBALS,

LIKE A BLUE SKY,

LIKE A CLEAN SLATE.

I AM THE MUSIC--

THE MUSIC THAT LIVENS IN THE DANCE

WITH A MIXTURE JUST LIKE SALSA,

AND ENDS UP WITH THE JOY OF THE ARTS.

LISTEN TO MY DANCE---

IT IS THE DANCE OF MUSIC.

IT POURS SO CLEAR

LIKE A WASHED-OUT EAR,

THAT JUST WANTS TO HEAR

THE FEET MOVING TO THE DANCE,

AND THE SOUND FLOWING IN THE MUSIC.

THIS, THEREFORE, IS YOUR CHANCE

TO LISTEN TO MY DANCE.

                          LIDAVELL

(MY REMINISCENCES OF LIZVETH LIDAVELL MENDEZ)

I WAS EN VOGUE--

A MODEL OUT OF ABOUT 30 MODELS

IN THE 1998 MOM'S DAY FASHION SHOW,

FOR I REMEMBER THE DANCES WE DID...

THOSE COUNTRY DANCES,

THOSE DISCO DANCES,

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...

LIZVETH LIDAVELL MENDEZ.

LIZVETH LIDAVELL MENDEZ,

A FRIEND OF MINE

WHO WAS SO LATIN N' DIVINE,

AS THE BACKGROUND MUSIC PLAYED,

AS I AND LIZVETH SACHAYED

DOWN THE RUNWAY

CLOSE TO THE MONTH OF MAY.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ,

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

SHE IS JUST LIKE A CARMEN,

FOR LIKE...(LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ),

I CAN DANCE AND BE A MODEL.

AS BEFORE, I WAS IN THE MOM'S DAY FASHION SHOW,

AND MS. LIZVETH WAS THERE, AS THE MODELS MOVED TO AND FRO;

THAT NAME WAS SO LIVELY AND SURE,

THAT I MYSELF FEEL JUST LIKE A LIDAVELL, WITHOUT A BLUR.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

THE ONE I REMEMBER; SHE WAS SO GREAT

BEING THE EMCEE FOR FIESTA 1998,

AND I WAS THAT GUY

AT THE U. OF I

WHO SAW HER ON THE STAGE,

WITH A NAME SO IMPORTANT FOR A BEAUTIFUL DIARY PAGE.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

THAT NAME SO BOUNTIFUL AS LATRICE.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ.

THAT NAME SO BEAUTIFUL AS SHANICE.

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL...MENDEZ!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL!

LIZVETH...LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELL!

LIDAVELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

(AND ALTHOUGH I REMEMBER HER,

DESPITE ALL OF THIS ABOVE, I MISS HER!)

                      MYSTERY PIANO

ONE MAN SAW SOMETHING THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE--

A PINO STARTED TO PLAY ITSELF IN FAST NOTES.

HE SAID, "THIS CANNOT EVER BE POSSIBLE!"

AS THE SOUND ROSE AND FELL LIKE A SEA WITH A THOUSAND BOATS.

THE TENSION WAS CONTINOUS IN THAT THAING SO MUSICALLY BIZAARE

AS THE 'PERSONLESS PIANO' TRIED TO GO MAD;

THEN SUDDENLY, THE MUSIC STOPPED, AND HE SAID, "WHAT AMAZING KEYS

     THEY ARE!..."

BUT WAS THERE ANYONE INSIDE THE PIANO...NO, TOO BAD.
